The master scriveners

Through writing the Zu people manipulate and bend magic to their will. They are renowned for the elaborately carved masks that they infuse with magic. A wearer of such a mask is given enhanced abilities and protection from harm. They also tattoo their bodies to ward off curses, heal faster, and increase stamina.
